Sukjong Yoo 醫師

Dr. Yoo於1990年在韓國建國大學取得獸醫學士及碩士學位後，到日本東京工藤動物醫院接受工藤醫師的指導，學習獸醫眼科的知識與技術。之後於1992年在韓國首爾設立自己的動物醫院。他是亞洲獸醫眼科專科醫師學會院士（Diplomate, AiCVO）。
Dr. Yoo是亞洲獸醫眼科醫協會（AiSVO）的創辦人之一及財務長，也是韓國獸醫眼科醫學會（KSVO）的主席。他於2005年翻譯著名的獸醫眼科書籍（Severin’s Veterinary Ophthalmology Notes第三版），並於2008年出版小動物獸醫眼科圖集。
Dr. Yoo在全南國立大學和忠北國立大學有針對小動物臨床獸醫及獸醫學生上課。自己的研究領域是眼內手術及眼角膜疾病。

Dr. Yoo graduated from Konkuk University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He spent the next two years working and studying Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Kudo Animal Hospital under Dr. Soroku Kudo’s guidance and supervision in Tokyo, Japan.
He has been running Yoolim Animal Hospital in Seoul, Korea since 1992.
Dr. Yoo is a founder member and the Treasurer of the Asian Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology. He is also the President of the Korean Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology. He translated Severin’s Veterinary Ophthalmology Notes(3rd Edition) in 2005 and published Small
Animal Ophthalmology(Atlas) in 2008.
He has given lectures to domestic veterinarians and students at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Chonnam National University and Chungbuk National University. His clinical fields
of interests are intraocular surgery and corneal diseases. |
